I have been a writer since I was a teenager. My creative path has taken me through several genres, writing voices and jobs. Becoming a writer is a choice you make every day. It’s a stubborn dedication that makes way for moments when you think you’re writing is shit and you’re a fraud… and then you pen words the words that make sense and an inexplicable feeling of bliss overtakes you.
Self discover isn’t always pretty or avant garde. It’s a strange journey we choose as writers, but if you have the call there’s no choice but to lean into it.
I've played the role of contributor and creator: writing non-fiction essays, short stories, articles, features for news publications, short documentary scripts and a non-fiction novel.
I’ve worked as the curator and editor: starting my own lifestyle publication online, being lead editor of online culture publications and revitalizing other company’s online platforms.
I’ve collaborated with other creative professionals on big-name brands bringing ideas to life from concept to final execution.
Of all the writing I've done and creative professionals I've worked with, I have absorbed key skills systems, habits and attitudes that are essential to becoming a professional writer.
