Fall buzzin'... Healthy Happy Hour

Miami, Florida doesn't see a change of seasons, I like to think we have two— Summer and Summer-Lite. But that doesn't mean we can't infuse our endless tropical climate with tidbits of fall flavors so we don't feel gipped. These two recipes will help you sneak in healthy- for- you ingredients, and at the same time quench your thirst for happy hour. Personally, I think these are refreshingly good for any time of day, and any time of the year—especially since we live in paradise...it's 5 o'clock somewhere, people!

Tropical Mule

2 Carrots

3/4 cup Jasmine Green tea (cold brewed)

In the shaker:

Add 4 oz of gin, 1 cup of ice, fill the rest of the shaker with the Juice mixture from above, and 3/4 cup of jasmine green tea (cold brewed). Vigorously shake up the goodness.

Next, pour into a coupe or highball glass leaving about an inch of space at the top. The piece de resistance—ginger kombucha! OR—Top off your cocktail with some of your favorite sudsy ginger beer and savor the tropical fall flavor!
